Boy Scout Hot Springs is a primitive geothermal site in La Paz County near Quartzsite, Arizona, in the Sonoran Desert along the Colorado River corridor. The spring produces water at around 47°C in the flat desert terrain, flowing into simple earthen and rock soaking pools. The surrounding desert is classic Arizona low desert with saguaro and ironwood, and the Colorado River lies just miles to the west. The site is on BLM land and sees use from RV travelers and winter desert visitors.
