Hakone Yuryo is a day-use hot spring bathing facility built in the style of a rustic Japanese village, three minutes by free shuttle from Hakone-Yumoto Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. It has no overnight accommodation and draws its water from Tonosawa Onsen, one of the seven historic hot springs of Hakone, first developed during the Edo period (1603-1868) along the Hayakawa River. The spring water is described as mildly alkaline. The facility offers indoor baths, forest-view open-air baths, and private rotenburo rooms, including the Hanare Yuya Kaden wing with 19 private open-air-bath rooms.
