Kheer Ganga Hot Spring

Kheer Ganga Hot Spring, también conocido como Parvati Kund, se encuentra a unos 2.960 metros de altitud en el valle de Parvati, Himachal Pradesh, al que se accede tras una caminata de 12-13 km desde el pueblo de Barshaini, cerca de Kasol. El manantial es considerado sagrado tanto por la comunidad hindú como por la sij, y es uno de los destinos de trekking más populares del Himalaya indio, combinando el baño en aguas termales naturales con vistas a picos nevados, bosques de pinos y cascadas a lo largo del río Parvati. Kheer Ganga Hot Spring, also known as Parvati Kund, sits at roughly 2,960 metres in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh, reached via a 12-13 km trek from Barshaini village near Kasol. The spring is considered sacred by both Hindu and Sikh communities and is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the Indian Himalayas, combining natural hot-water bathing with views of snow-capped peaks, pine forests and waterfalls along the Parvati River. Camping at the site is currently banned, making it a day-trek destination, but it remains hugely popular with backpackers and nature enthusiasts seeking a blend of adventure, spirituality and budget-friendly travel.
