Nga Waiariki Ngawha Springs

Ngawha Springs (māorí: Ngāwhā, 'manantial hirviente') se encuentra a unos 5 km al este de Kaikohe, en Northland, y es de propiedad māorí, sirviendo a hapū ngāpuhi vinculados al cercano marae de Ngāwhā. El complejo principal cuenta con 16 piscinas públicas y 8 privadas, con temperaturas que van desde unos 32°C más frescos hasta piscinas considerablemente más calientes con nombres como 'Favourite' y 'Doctor', cada una con propiedades terapéuticas propias según la tradición local. Las aguas termales también suministran vapor a la central geotérmica de Ngawha. El complejo pasó por una importante remodelación en 2020–21, que añadió vestuarios, una cafetería y una tienda, tras mejoras anteriores a finales de la década de 1970.

Ngawha Springs (Māori: Ngāwhā, 'boiling spring') sits about 5 km east of Kaikohe in Northland and is Māori-owned, serving Ngāpuhi hapū connected to the nearby Ngāwhā Marae. The main complex has 16 public and 8 private pools ranging from a cooler 32°C to considerably hotter named pools such as 'Favourite' and 'Doctor,' each reputed to have distinct therapeutic properties. The springs also supply steam for the Ngawha geothermal power station. The facility underwent a major refurbishment in 2020–21, adding changing rooms, a café, and a shop, following earlier upgrades in the late 1970s.

ンガワ・スプリングス(マオリ語:ンガーファー、「沸騰する泉」の意)はノースランドのカイコヘから東へ約5kmに位置し、マオリ所有で、近隣のンガーファー・マラエに連なるンガプヒのハプに仕えている。メイン施設には16の公共プールと8つのプライベートプールがあり、涼しめの32°Cから「フェイバリット」や「ドクター」と名付けられたかなり熱いプールまで幅があり、それぞれ独自の治療効果があるとされている。この温泉はンガワ地熱発電所にも蒸気を供給している。施設は2020〜21年に大規模改修を受け、更衣室、カフェ、売店が追加された。それ以前の改修は1970年代後半に行われた。
