Penatahan Hot Spring, locally known as Yeh Panes ("hot water" in Balinese), is a natural geothermal spring in Penatahan village, Penebel district, Tabanan Regency, about 15 minutes from Tabanan town and 30 minutes from Batukaru Temple in west-central Bali. Sitting at roughly 350 meters elevation, the sulphur-bearing water emerges at around 35°C and has been used for traditional bathing and ritual cleansing for centuries, valued locally for skin health benefits. Today the site is developed with soaking pools set beside a river, drawing both Balinese visitors seeking traditional healing and tourists exploring the Tabanan countryside.
