Piscine Termali del Bagnaccio is an open-air thermal park about 8 km north of Viterbo, on the route of the medieval Via Francigena pilgrimage road. The park has five pools fed by sulphate-bicarbonate, alkaline, sulphurous springs known in Roman times as 'Aquae Passeris'; the water emerges at the source at a hyperthermal 65-66°C, with cooler pools ranging 23-29°C. The park reopened to the public on 2 August 2025 after a closure of over three years, following a hygiene inspection.
