Tamina Therme

Tamina Therme aprovecha el manantial termal de la Taminaschlucht, la estrecha garganta caliza cerca de Bad Pfäfers donde el agua se usó por primera vez con fines terapéuticos en la Edad Media. Brota a una temperatura constante de 36,5°C y es famosa por ser inusualmente suave, de sabor neutro y baja en contenido mineral, prácticamente libre de bacterias en el origen. En 1838-39 se abrió un camino hasta Bad Pfäfers y el agua termal se canalizó a lo largo de unos cuatro kilómetros hasta Ragaz, transformando el pueblo en la localidad balnearia de Bad Ragaz. Hoy el agua sigue el mismo recorrido hasta el llamativo Tamina Therme, un área de bienestar de 8.600 metros cuadrados que es el eje del Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Tamina Therme draws on the thermal spring of the Taminaschlucht, the narrow limestone gorge near Bad Pfäfers where the water was first put to therapeutic use in medieval times. It emerges at a steady 36.5°C and is famous for being unusually soft, neutral-tasting and low in mineral content, essentially bacteria-free at the source. In 1838-39, a road was cut to Bad Pfäfers and the thermal water was piped roughly four kilometers down to Ragaz, transforming the village into the spa town of Bad Ragaz. Today the water still flows the same route into the architecturally striking Tamina Therme, an 8,600-square-meter wellness area that anchors the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

タミナ・テルメは、バート・プフェファース近郊の狭い石灰岩の渓谷、タミナシュルフトに湧く温泉を利用している。この水は中世に初めて療養目的で使われた。常時36.5℃で湧出し、異例なほど柔らかく、無味に近く、ミネラル含有量が低いこと、そして水源ではほぼ無菌であることで知られる。1838年から39年にかけてバート・プフェファースへの道が切り開かれ、温泉水は約4キロメートル下流のラガーツへ引かれ、この村はバート・ラガーツという温泉町へと生まれ変わった。現在もこの水は同じ経路を通り、グランド・リゾート・バート・ラガーツの中核をなす8,600平方メートルのウェルネスエリア、印象的な建築のタミナ・テルメへと届けられている。
