Terme Sabine di Cretone is a public thermal complex in the hamlet of Cretone, part of the municipality of Palombara Sabina, about 30 km northeast of Rome. It draws on two natural calcic-sulphurous springs at a constant 23°C, officially recognized by Italy's Ministry of Health in 1987 for dermatological, biliary, gastric, and arthro-rheumatic conditions. The waters have been used since pre-Roman times, and the complex today includes three outdoor pools, a restaurant, and massage services, open seasonally from late May to late September.
The therapeutic properties of the sulphur waters at Cretone were known and exploited as early as pre-Roman and Roman times, though official medical recognition came only in 1987 when the Italian Ministry of Health certified the springs.
