Valle dei Bagni di Masino se encuentra en la cabecera del valle Val Masino, en la Valtellina, provincia de Sondrio, rodeado de bosque denso y acantilados de granito. El histórico complejo termal lleva muchos años cerrado y abandonado, pero una fuente termal junto al antiguo hotel sigue entregando agua del manantial de forma gratuita.

Valle dei Bagni di Masino sits at the head of the Val Masino valley in the Valtellina, Province of Sondrio, surrounded by dense forest and granite cliffs. The sulphate-bicarbonate spring, known since at least the 15th century and once a fashionable retreat for Lombard nobility, emerges at approximately 38°C. The historic spa complex has been closed and abandoned for many years, but a thermal fountain beside the former hotel still delivers spring water free of charge.
