Aqua Park President operates within Băile Felix, a spa resort roughly 8 km from Oradea whose oligometallic, bicarbonated, calcic-sodic thermal springs range from about 20°C to 49°C and have supported organized bathing since monk Felix Helcher set up the first treatment facilities, known as 'Félixfürdő,' between 1711 and 1721. Opened in 2012, the park's 20 pools (14 indoor, 6 outdoor) are powered by these mesothermal springs, with one of the main pools running at about 37°C — comfortable enough for bathing through the winter even when outdoor temperatures drop. It sits alongside Băile Felix's older balneotherapy establishments, which remain in use for rheumatic, neurological and gynecological treatment.
Organized bathing at Băile Felix dates to 1711-1721, when the monk Felix Helcher established the first treatment facilities, then known by the Hungarian name 'Félixfürdő.' An additional spring discovered in 1885 reached 49°C. The resort's waters support unique tertiary-relict species, including the snail Melanopsis parreyssi and the fish Scardinus racovitzai, pointing to a very ancient thermal origin.
