Balneario Pedagogico de Vidago

El Balneário Pedagógico de Vidago abrió en 2014 en el interior de la antigua estación de ferrocarril del pueblo de Vidago, en la región del Alto Tâmega. Utiliza la misma agua del manantial de Vidago, conocida desde hace tiempo por su alta alcalinidad, descubierta en 1863 y embotellada comercialmente desde 1873. Según el análisis certificado del producto embotellado de la misma fuente, el agua es un agua mineral natural con gas, bicarbonatada-sódica, con pH 6,2, mineralización total de 2.816 mg/L y bicarbonato como ión dominante (1.972 mg/L). El establecimiento ofrece termalismo terapéutico, masajes y tratamientos de bienestar centrados en la recuperación musculoesquelética.

The Balneário Pedagógico de Vidago opened in 2014 inside the converted former railway station of Vidago village, in the Alto Tâmega region. It draws on the same Vidago spring water long known for its high alkalinity — discovered in 1863 and bottled commercially since 1873. According to the certified analysis of the bottled product from the same source, the water is a naturally sparkling bicarbonate-sodium mineral water with pH 6.2, total mineralization of 2,816 mg/L, and bicarbonate as its dominant ion (1,972 mg/L). The facility offers therapeutic thermalism, massage and wellness treatments focused on musculoskeletal recovery.
