Kanbayashi Onsen

Kanbayashi Onsen es un pequeño pueblo de aguas termales en Yamanouchi, prefectura de Nagano, a unos 35 km al noreste del centro de la ciudad de Nagano, que sirve de puerta de entrada al Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani. Los macacos japoneses salvajes del parque comenzaron a bañarse en una piscina termal construida para una posada cercana, lo que dio fama al parque; el agua utilizada en todo el pueblo y en la propia piscina de los monos proviene de la misma fuente dentro del parque. Kanbayashi Onsen is a small hot spring village in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture, about 35 km northeast of central Nagano City, that serves as the gateway to the Jigokudani Monkey Park. The park's wild Japanese macaques began bathing in a hot spring pool built for a nearby guesthouse and gave the park its fame; the water used throughout the village and the monkeys' own bathing pool is piped from the same source inside the park. The source water is classified as a sodium-calcium chloride and sulfate spring with a pH of about 7.0. Visitors reach the monkey park via a 1.6 km forested walking trail from the village.

上林温泉は、長野市中心部から北東へ約35キロメートルの山ノ内町にある小さな温泉郷で、地獄谷野猿公苑への玄関口となっている。公苑の野生ニホンザルは、近くの宿のために作られた温泉の湯船に入り始めたことで公苑が有名になった。村内で利用される湯や猿の湯船は、公苑内にある同じ源泉から引かれている。源泉はナトリウム・カルシウム-塩化物・硫酸塩泉に分類され、pHは約7.0である。訪問者は村から1.6キロの森の遊歩道を歩いて猿公苑へ向かう。
