Rainbow Springs State Park

Rainbow Springs produces over 400 million gallons of water per day, creating the Rainbow River — one of Florida's clearest and most biologically diverse waterways. Visitors can swim at the headspring, rent tubes for a lazy float downriver, and explore restored water gardens and waterfalls that date to a 1930s commercial attraction. The spring runs at a constant 22°C year-round, making it equally refreshing in Florida's summers and pleasant on mild winter days. Manatees occasionally use the river as a refuge in cooler months.
